WIW: Hey at least it keeps me posting once a week

WIW: the Thursday edition?

Moving toward a Strong Finish...

WIW: Thoughts and Ramblings
Getting right to it, my weight this morning came in at 163.6.  That is a reduction of 4.4 lbs since last Wed.  Not a very stellar loss considering I am on hcg again and most everyone is way beyond my mere 10.8 lbs lost, but then again I have to admit I have a daily “cheat” of coffee with cream in the morning.  Cream is definitely NOT on this plan.  This morning I reduced the amount of...

Quick check in...
Yep, still alive.  Still on that darned hcg vlcd, had a brisk 30 minute nordic trac session with 4x20 second sprint interval this morning.  Checked in with the horses, they’re still alive too and enjoying the 50 degree day.    Currently enjoying a non-hcg beverage of 1 shot kaluha/1 shot pinnacle whipped cream vodka. I suck at this vlcd thing, can’t wait to be back to low-carb.

Half Way Through!
Was just doing my morning calendar and noticed I am just over HALF WAY through the vlcd phase of the hcg plan.  Only 13 more days then on to maintenance.  I never thought I would be so happy to be just plain old low carb!

Non-White (but not really black) Russian
Enjoyed a lovely coctail last night comprised of a shot of Kaluha and a shot of Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka.  I’m not sure if it is an actual drink with a given name, I just used what I had in my liquour cabinet.  Tasted very much like a white russian without the added cream.  It may have slowed my pace just a bit in the weight loss side, but saved my sanity.  A fair trade in my opinion.  ...

Thursday Ramblings
Just finished my lunch comprised of chicken broth sauteed chicken and apples served with steamed broccoli.  YUM. Shark attack this week but still making positive progress.  Last week 173.0 this week 168.0 a net loss of 5 lbs.  A good week, all things considering.  As for my dinner posts I have no idea why my phone is posting every pic twice.  Sorry for cluttering up your dashboards with superfluous pictures of dinner :) But the food was yummy!

A Boring Little Post
Getting ready for the week and I am sore all over!  Did 30+ minutes of the plyometrics dvd yesterday.  I am taking today off and probably going back to Ab Ripper on Tuesday. I'm back....again.
Need to collect some thoughts and write a meaningful post.  Oh please as if anyone cares about meaningful posts anyway.  Right now I am working on a project for some family and friends so my thoughts are rather scattered.  Lets leave it as the last 3 months of 2011 were an epic FAIL in my world of nutrition and exercise.  2012 will be better.  I am sure of it!

Not so much an EPIC fail....but
I ate the remainder of my son’s ice cream cone on the way home from soccer practice today.  It reminds me of my first and maybe (?) only steadfast rule…always plan ahead to avoid starvation. Darn it I let myself get hungry and I was stuck in traffic…whine, whine, whine. Definitely will do better tomorrow.

WIW: Wine (or Whine) update
Nothing very exciting to post about lately.  Eating very little food, although I thoroughly enjoyed that Iced Skinny Vanilla Latte.  I very rarely drink something like that as in my normal world I would NEVER drink skim milk…but the hcg protocol makes me do silly things. Nearly 1/2 Way Through
Very excited to note that I have only 10 days left of injections and 13 days of the VLCD.  Except for 3 days (in a row!) of wine consumption I have been doing pretty well.  I think I have been feeling more hungry with this round, but I am not sure.  I need to go back to my beginning posts to find out.

WIW: The hcg version
Well, folks my hcg restart program has been moving along nicely this past week.  I am feeling a bit hungry now and again, which isn’t such a bad thing; but most importantly I am regaining the control over my “compulsion” to eat.  It’s funny how I forget, when I am eating good food and maintaining my weight, that I am a massive compulsive eater. Moving Right Along
My food has been pretty dull, my exercise practically non-existant and my life filled with work and kids.  Not so much fun to blog about.  I am still adjusting to a 3 day work week.  I am treating patients M,W, and F and let me tell you they are turning into L-O-N-G days, but it is worth it to be able to hang with the kids all day on Tues and Thurs.
